Re:      Corporate Sponsorship of East Tennessee WINGS on April 30, 2005
This is the tenth year that the FAA and Tennessee Department of Transportation, Aeronautics Division, have sponsored an East Tennessee WINGS event in East Tennessee, but the second year of sponsoring it at Knoxville Downtown Island Airport (DKX).  Each year we have more pilots attend to learn more about flying safely.  This year, we plan to offer topics such as Mountain Flying, Fuel Contamination, Fatigue, Spins, Insurance Issues, Political Issues, Air Traffic Control, and Air Craft Maintenance.  We have asked locally renowned speakers such as Bill Kershner, Dr. Joe Wilkerson, , Brandon Hughett (Knoxville Flight Training Center’s new manager), Bob Minter from The Tennessee Museum of Aviation,and Beverly Barnnett from the Tri-Cities area, plus others to assist our efforts.  In addition, we will have CFIs available all day to provide biennial flight reviews free of charge.
Each year, we have corporate sponsors donate either money and/or door prizes to be given away and recognize them during the event and on program handouts.  We would greatly appreciate your company donating financial support and/or door prizes this year.  The date for East Tennessee WINGS is Saturday, April 30, 2005.  So far, companies have donated from $100 - $500, but we need more.  We expect this to be a popular event with huge attendance by local general aviation pilots Corporations or individuals who donate either monetarily or door prizes have their names listed on a handout given to everyone on the WINGS Saturday.  In addition to the handout, sponsors this year will be listed on the East Tennessee WINGS web site.  This is the second year for the WINGS web site.  The WINGS address is:   www.etnwings.com
